We also make a point of taking your recovery to the next level by conducting many of our treatments in the community outside of the residence. This ensures that the skills learned here are practiced in “real world” settings. This is a great help to our clients upon their return home. The practical experience with sober living skills HIR gives them in public environments help eliminate the shock of reentry experienced by others when leaving the completely insulated environment generally offered in traditional recovery settings.
During our clients’ stay, varied treatment modalities are provided. These include medically supervised detoxification, nutritional support and counseling, individual psychiatric and psychological treatment, EFT training, group therapy and education sessions. Taking advantage of our location in the heart of paradise, we also offer 12-step community-based meetings and support by the ocean side, once-in-a-lifetime hiking opportunities, and recreational activities that take advantage of Hawaii Island’s spectacular beaches and the surrounding ocean. We also have a full service gym that provide a personal trainer once a week and offer holistic healing approaches such as massage, acupuncture, hypnosis, Reiki, yoga, and meditation.
Our commitment to leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of recovery for all includes a comprehensive approach from our initial contact until well after our clients have returned home. We remain dedicated to the long-term sobriety and emotional stability of our clients all throughout the entire process of their rehabilitation – from the pre-treatment, the actual treatment program (which is available in 30, 60, 90 and more days of tenure depending on the individual client’s needs), all the way to our unique aftercare program which supports clients as they reenter their home environment.
